A Mummy Makeover is a personalized combination of cosmetic surgeries designed to help women restore their bodies after childbirth. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and motherhood bring profound changes to the body, and despite diet and exercise, some areas may not return to their previous shape. Mummy Makeovers are tailored to each individual, focusing on rejuvenating the areas most affected by pregnancy—typically the abdomen, breasts, and body contour.
The tummy tuck procedure tightens loose abdominal skin and repairs separated muscles, which can be common after pregnancy. Excess skin and fat are removed, resulting in a firmer and flatter abdomen. During the procedure, a discreet incision is made above the pubic area to ensure minimal visible scarring. Depending on individual needs, patients may choose from traditional, extended, mini, or reverse tummy tucks.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding can leave the breasts with volume loss, sagging, or an uneven appearance. The Mommy Makeover offers different breast surgery options based on each patient’s goals:
Liposuction is used to remove stubborn fat deposits that do not respond to diet or exercise. Targeting areas like the waist, hips, thighs, or back, liposuction helps to contour the body, enhancing overall symmetry and shape. This procedure is commonly combined with a tummy tuck for optimal body sculpting results.
Stretch marks are often left behind after pregnancy. For patients looking to reduce or remove these marks, laser skin-resurfacing treatments can be included in the Mommy Makeover, helping to restore smooth, even skin.
Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we’re here to guide you honestly throughout your beauty journey.
Our Doctors
have a question?
Most patients can return to light activities within 1-2 weeks, with full recovery typically taking 6-8 weeks. It’s essential to follow all post-operative instructions to ensure optimal healing.
Our surgeons aim to make incisions in discreet areas to minimize visible scarring. Scars typically fade over time and can be managed with proper aftercare.
It’s recommended to complete your family before undergoing a Mommy Makeover, as future pregnancies can affect the results of procedures like a tummy tuck and breast surgery.
With a stable weight and a healthy lifestyle, the results of a Mommy Makeover can be long-lasting, providing a refreshed, youthful appearance for many years.
